Mohave County Library Senior Bookmobile
Serving Kingman, Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City
Welcome to the Mohave County Library Bookmobile, lovingly referred to as the Angiemobile. We are excited about our visits to the senior facilities in Kingman, Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City. We also visit Head Start programs in Kingman and appreciate the tremendous support shown by the children, teachers and parents. We bring large print books, CDs, DVDs, Spanish, paperbacks, youth materials and more to provide entertainment and enrichment to our patrons. Checkouts of material is for one month.

I have been working as the Angiemobile coordinator for a year now, and I love meeting all the residents and staff, and working with great Community Library staff. We have a new client at our Sunridge stop in
Bullhead
City and her name is Wanda Reid. Wanda has started a newsletter, called the Sunridge Village Review, and after talking to Wanda we learned she wrote an entertainment column for the Weekender titled Shorelines, until 2002. She is also a poet and Sunridge will be having monthly poetry readings for residents. She has been regaling us with lots of stories. We went to our first early Bullhead City Head Start this week, and checked out lots of books and DVD’s. We have several new stops coming up; we will be adding the Kidde Korral North in Kingman and Havasu Hills in
Lake
Havasu.
Congratulations to Mary Ashmore, activity director at Legacy in
Bullhead
City. She made employee of the month. We are looking forward to January 24th, Snapshot Day. We will be taking pictures of what goes on in our day. See you as we're out and about.
