The Chloride Community Library Adult Program is hosting the,"Scented Wax Dipped Friends", confused?  Let me explain. It is a wonderful craft project that would make a unique, small gift, or something you would like to make for that special space on your desk. It will be held Tuesday, Feb. 23rd at 12:30 pm.  Why not come in and sign-up for this fun afternoon project?

We held our Book Discussion in January, and even with rain, wind, and snow, we had a great turn out.  Old Man Winter could not stop the enthusiasm of our local patrons.  The next Book Discussion is scheduled for Thursday, March 4th, at 12:30 pm.  The book to be discussed is, "The House of Sand and Fog", by Andre Dubus III.  This selection is a page turner with a beating heart.  I might add that it has also been made into a major movie and it was a finalist for the 1999 National Book Award for fiction. It is definitely a book you will want to curl up with on a cold, wintery night.  So come in and pick up a copy and join us for a exciting and fun discussion. 

 

Donna, our computer tech, will be hosting a computer class on Wednesday, Feb.10th, and Feb.24th, from 2:30 to 4:30. If you would like to learn a new skill on the computer, or just to find out how to get started, make an appointment to join us. These are one on one lessons, fitted to your individual needs.
