Community Libraries

Mohave County Community Libraries is committed to providing library services to areas not served by the Branch Libraries. This is accomplished through our 7 outlying libraries and 2 bookmobiles that serve communities at the far reaches of the library service area.
Patrons can choose from a wide variety of books, movies, and other material, as well as have access to material from all 10 Mohave County Library locations through weekly courier service. There are also public computers with internet access.
To find and reach your local Community Library, click on the "locations" tab on the website homepage.

November and December Community Library Highlights
by Stella Carlzen
The hunt for a Dolan Springs Coordinator continues, we hope to have this process over by the end of the year. Betsy drove the bookmobile in the Yucca parade, thanks to the FOL for their help. Wayne, Cathy and Kelly attended AZLA in Tucson and they had a informative and fun time. Finally, all of us at Community Libraries would like to wish you a Happy Holiday.
December Highlights:
Hooray! Our new Dolan Springs Coordinator (Bea) started on the 31st, we are all so happy to have her join our team. We started out the month with our Staff Meeting, which was hosted by Otis, the Golden Valley Coordinator. Thanks to Otis and his FOL for all the treats. Staff attended many meetings and others were out on vacation for the Holidays, thanks to the staff that stayed behind and covered all the locations. On January 31st, Community Libraries will host the Citizens Advisory Meeting at the Gordon Annex, hope to see you all here. Happy New Year from all of us at Community Libraries!
