Library Happenings

Happy December everyone. I can't believe it's almost time for Santa to drop by. Speaking of Santa.......did I tell you that he is making a special guest appearance here at the Golden Shores Library? And we don't even have to wait until Christmas Eve to try and sneak out to see him when he stops by our house to drop off our presents. He is going to be here on Wednesday, Dec. 7th at 3:00 p.m. and he is even going to take pictures with everyone. He will be waiting to see everyone in the big community room that's located on the back side of the Civic building.
Then our adult program will be on Thursday, Dec. 8th at 1:30 p.m., where we will be having our annual tea party/cookie exchange. So get your recipes ready and don't forget to bring a copy of it in case anyone wants to get it from you. Don't worry about bringing anything else because I will supply the tea, cookies to eat here, and the boxes to put your exchanged cookies in so you will be able to carry them home. Then on Dec. 14th, Loretta will be at the library for reading time at 3pm.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, or Happy Kwanza and may Santa bring you what you're wishing for the most. Don't forget to leave cookies out for Santa and carrots out for the reindeer.
