Newsletter News
We have a new, clean look to our newsletter with our Friends of the Library logo! In order to reduce operating costs the newsletter will now be sent out 3 times a year instead of the previous 4 times. It has been called to our attention that some of our members prefer not to receive mail year round and we have a solution to that. Starting with this issue our Newsletter will be on the Mohave County Library Website! Any member that would rather read it there can access it at www. mohavecountylibrary.info and let us know to remove you from the mailing list. It will be available the middle of the months of April, August and December. * * * *

The Friends of The Lake Havasu City Branch Library is a nonprofit, grassroots membership group dedicated to promoting our Mohave County Library, which is an essential institution of our community. Our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the Library, its patrons, and the larger Lake Havasu City community. The Friends raises funds to be used by The Lake Havasu City Library for activities and materials not ordinarily covered by the Library's operating budget; ongoing Library operations are paid for by county tax dollars and are the responsibility of our county government. Our Friends group currently has about 166 members. Their monthly meetings fall on the first Thursday of the month with the exception of June, July and August which are dark. |
