News and Happenings
The Friends of the Library is in full swing. They had a successful book sale and have already put the funds to good use. They purchased some new shelving for the back storage and office area, a new locking cabinet for the back restroom and some new DVDs. They have additional plans to support the summer reading programs and purchase new books.
New members are always welcome. Meetings are the first Friday of each month at 11:00 a.m. The purpose of the Friends group is to promote the library through fund raising, book sales, advocacy and community awareness. Won’t you join us?
